“I think as a nation we have to put ourselves in good professional environments - we don’t have a professional league back home, so being able to put yourself in a good position for club and being able to play regularly and take that back is huge to New Zealand. It’s good for me as an individual and for New Zealand to be here.”

Linking up with the Celts straight after making her Olympic debut with New Zealand, Chance only got a couple of sessions and one game under her belt before jetting off to Trondheim to face Levante in the Celts' first experience of the Champions League.

Linking up with the Hoops from Australian top flight side Brisbane Roar, she also brings experience from the WSL having played for Everton and Bristol City, as well as spells at Sheffield United and Breiðablik in Iceland.

The 27-year-old adds another attacking edge to Fran Alonso’s midfield, and arrived with a wealth of tournament football experience.
