2018’s Player of the Year brings a number of qualities to Celtic’s squad, notably experience in England’s top league. Starting at 7 years old, the midfielder is in her second spell at Celtic having first signed in 2012, before rejoining in 2016.
Her time with English Super League side Arsenal was hindered by an ankle injury, but it led to her return to Scotland as she signed on loan to Hibs after her recovery. With 14 caps for the Scotland A-Squad and having worked her way through the youth ranks, Ross has worked for teams with high demands which translates into her tireless and competitive style of play.
The combative midfielder pulls no punches, and admits she likes a battle. “I like a tackle. I’m very competitive and like to move the ball around. The main thing is winning,” she said.
