Manager's notes: Celtic v Glasgow City

Ahead of Celtic welcoming top-of-the-table Glasgow City to K-Park this evening, read manager Fran Alonso's thoughts as kick-off fast approaches.

It's a very difficult game. It's the two on-form teams in the country - we have six wins in a row and they have seven wins in a row, so it's two teams in top form so that adds extra difficulty. They are 13 times champions, but on top of that, they've won every game since we have been back, so it'll be a huge challenge. We can't have a mental block from the last defeat against them when our performance wasn't good, but we are in good form and I think we will put up a good fight and I'm positive we can play a good game and try to get the three points.

There are 21 points left to play for, so whatever the table says now, for me is absolutely irrelevant - it didn't matter when we were in third and it doesn't matter now we are second, and if we were top - it really doesn't matter. There are 21 points and we need to try and get as many points as possible. The perfect scenario would obviously be to win all 21, but we know that is very difficult. But every game is worth three points reagrdless of the opponent - that's why beating Forfar and Motherwell is just as important as beating City, so for us it's always about the next three points, and lets see where we are in the last couple of game.

With their form, they will be a team that will be difficult to beat - we cannot make mistakes and will have to be at our best mentally and physically.
