The Ghirls face Thistle at the Penny Cars Stadium at 2pm, with manager Fran Alonso hoping to stay firmly in the race for a spot at the top of the league table.

Both sides will be focusing on recovery after midweek matches, which saw Celtic beat Motherwell 4-0 on Wednesday night.

Partick Thistle suffered a 3-1 defeat to high-flyers Glasgow City on Thursday having put on a battling performance.

Sunday’s fixture promises to be a thrilling game – with an atmosphere you won’t want to miss.

The manager and his coaching staff are continuing to try and push the Celts to their full potential and Alonso says he doesn’t want the team to “lose intensity”.

“Everyone is important, so we will be looking to rotate the team to make sure we will be as intense as we need to be to win football games,” he said.

Partick Thistle will be up for the challenge in Airdrie this weekend and will be looking for a positive result after their defeat to Glasgow City.

Come and support the Hoops this Sunday, with tickets priced at just £4 for U16s and £8 for adults!
